A spicy drink for Thanksgiving!

For this month's signature drink, we spiced things up a bit with a version of the classic Gold Rush, the Ginger Gold rush.

This is a fantastic drink for a cold autumn evening and a cozy knitting project!

It's also great as an aperitif. 

Ginger Gold Rush

1 to 1-1/2 ounces Ginger Liqueur
1 ounce Bourbon
1 teaspoon  

Lemon juice

 

Mix all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and pour into a small cocktail glass. You can also serve over ice.

I like garnishing with a brandied cherry (or maraschino cherry) or two!
